The Right Reverend Sally Johnson French was consecrated 13th Bishop of the Diocese of New Jersey on June 24, 2023. A native of Toronto, Canada, she holds a bachelors degree from Trinity College, University of Toronto (Economics, History), a Master of Divinity degree through the Toronto School of Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry degree is from Virginia Theological Seminary. Before her election as Bishop, she served as Canon for Regional Ministry and Collaborative Innovation in the Diocese of North Carolina.
