UrbanPromise Trenton Thanks:  Cn. Clara Gregory, Larry Spears, Joyce Gibbs, Lucy and Keith Adams, Gil Williams, Willie Coleman, Judith Miller, and Tony Wootson for the awesome picnic they provided to kick off the July 4^th weekend for the UPT campers, their families, and the UPT staff.

Over 100 folks enjoyed grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, with all the picnic food trimmings on the afternoon of July 3^rd. Additionally, Lucy and Keith provided great snacks for the first three days of camp this year.

The families loved the idea, and there were requests to make this a tradition! Special thanks go to Patrice and Joe D’Angelo for bringing their grill from home so that we could actually grill the ‘burgers and dogs!  😁

Due to the continued high heat in the forecast, we will once again move our Tuesday, August 29^th Creation Care “Dinner and a Movie” to Isles, located at 33 Tucker Street in Trenton (5:30 pm.)

The Cathedral Altar Guild Shop will have a special opening on Saturday, September 6^th for the Diocesan Deacons’ Day at the Cathedral. Watch for details in your bulletin.

Choir Appreciation Luncheon: September 14^th – Come celebrate our wonderful choir. Watch for details in your bulletin. If you are interested in assisting with this event, contact Margret Nartey.

The next Food Pantry distribution date is – Saturday, August 9^th (2^nd & 4^th Saturdays this month) from 9-11:00 am. Each Thursday, we distribute hot dinners “to go” from 4:15–5:30pm at the Overbrook Avenue entrance as a satellite location for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
