Youth for Family Sunday
JOIN US! – Healthy Eating & Moving forum: Through a grant from the Trenton Health Team, we are hosting a series of six one-hour healthy eating and moving info. sessions after church on Sundays. Grab a snack from hospitality hour and join us in the air-conditioned Guild Room from 11:30 – 12:30 each week.

Urban Promise Help Wanted: Thanks to Kimme Carlos and Brenda Leonard (Cape May) who donated two new cabinets to store Urban Promise supplies! There is one more related ask: can you help to assemble these new cabinets? Please speak with Georgia Koenig if you can lend a hand.

Sunday Hospitality is back! – Join us for coffee, cold drinks and snacks each week. On the first Sunday of each month, we will have cake to celebrate all of our congregants’ birthdays for that month. If you would like to help our with Hospitality hour, please speak with Larry Spears on Sundays. Save the date for C.A.S.T.! – On Saturday, October 1 we will host our next C.A.S.T. concert, featuring pianist Richard Alston in a presentation of Classically Black: Piano Compositions by Composers of African Descent.

The Altar Guild Shop is open on the 3rd Sunday of each month, after the 8:30 am and 10:00 am services. If you cannot be here on the 3rd Sunday, or need something before then, you can contact Shop Manager Joyce Gibbs-Spears at trinitycathedralags@gmail.com and she will arrange to meet you. Join us for a Rite 1 Eucharist in the Chapel from 8:30am-9:15am on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. This is a spoken Mass with hymns.

The next Food Pantry distribution date is – Saturday, August 26th (2nd & 4th Saturdays this month) from 9-11:00 am. All food contributions to the Pantry are welcomed, along with monetary donations to purchase additional food from the food bank and local groceries. Each Thursday, we distribute hot dinners “to go” from 5:00–6:00pm at the Overbrook Avenue entrance as a satellite location for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
