Deacon

The Reverend Christopher Cox graduated from the Diocese of New Jersey’s School for Deacons class of 2009. He has served as a Deacon at Trinity Cathedral ever since his ordination.

While serving at Trinity Cathedral, Deacon Cox has led our Adult Christian Education program and our “Global Goals” international outreach programs (including raising funds to build two water wells in Liberia); served as a liaison/volunteer to the Rescue Mission of Trenton’s job preparation program, provided pastoral care and support to local area residents, and is a valuable member of the Trinity Cathedral preaching team.

Within the Diocese of New Jersey, Reverend Cox founded the Animal Welfare Ministry and service on the Creation Care Ministry team.

Prior to joining the Cathedral, Deacon Cox was a trained Hospice volunteer, a J2A Leader/Educator (Youth Christian Formation), and an Education for Ministry (EFM) graduate. He served on the Diocesan Spiritual Life Formation Team within the Diocese of Tennessee and the Diocesan Clergy Community Formation for the Diocese of New Jersey.

Reverend Cox is the Vice President of Business Development for a small Tech company in the San Francisco Bay Area.
