2024 Stewardship Update – Thank you to all who have pledged your support to the Cathedral for 2024! We currently have 70 pledging units, totaling $238,000 – an average of $3,400. If you would like a pledge card, please speak with Willie Coleman, J. Gil Williams or Dean John.

If you have not yet pledged for 2024, please consider turning in your card now – We need to assign envelope numbers and get them to everyone to use in the new year. Also, please use your NEW box of envelopes this year – DO NOT use older boxes. This ensures that all of your donations will be posted to your pledge. Envelope boxes are on the “ship table” in the Cathedral.

“A Taste of Joy – Recipes of Trinity Cathedral” cookbook is now available! – The cookbook developed out of a mini grant that our Cathedral was gifted with, that promoted healthy eating and moving. To keep the healthy eating going, proceeds from the sale of the books are going to provide fresh produce to the Cathedral Food Pantry. This also helps the farming communities. A win, win for all!

Even if you do not cook any more or don’t have a particular person to gift it to, you can still assist by purchasing books and we’ll donate them to the Food Pantry. Get yours today at the Cathedral Altar Guild Shop for just $10 or contact Lucy Adams at trinitycathedralags@gmail.com.  Also, if you are interested in selling the books, let Lucy know.   Thank you in advance for your support!

Notes from your Cathedral Altar Guild Shop – Happy New Year from the Gift Shop Volunteers! Ring in the New Year with a good read! The shop has a variety of books on sale, ready to accompany a cup of tea for a cozy afternoon of enjoyment during these cool, damp days. Or maybe you would like to be adventurous and try a new recipe from the “Taste of Joy – Recipes from Trinity Cathedral” cookbook that is now available in the Shop? Liturgical calendars – wall and desk – are still available.

The AGS will be closed for the Annual Meeting, but will be open Sunday, January 7th and January 14th. For more information or special requests, contact Lucy Adams at trinitycathedralags@gmail.com or leave a message at the Cathedral Office.

Can you help bag food for the Food Pantry? – We can use assistance the Thursday prior to each Pantry date. The next bagging day is Thursday, January 11th at 4:45 pm. If you would like to find out more about how you can help, feel free to call Lourdez “Cookie” Hernandez at (609) 902-8282.

The next Food Pantry distribution date is – Saturday, January 13th (2nd & 4th Saturdays this month) from 9-11:00 am. All food contributions to the Pantry are welcomed. Monetary donations are always welcome as they enable us to purchase additional food from the Food Bank and local groceries. THANK YOU for your support. Each Thursday, we distribute hot dinners “to go” from 5:00–6:00pm at the Overbrook Avenue entrance as a satellite location for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
