If you would like to advertise a volunteer opportunity, you can create your own flyer or use the form on the literature table in the main hallway.

This week we will bag food for the Food Pantry! Join us on Thursday, October 9th at 4:45 pm.

Did you know we host a Grief Support Group? Join us Sat., Oct. 11th at 10am in the Guild Room.

ENTER TO WIN!!! – If you cannot be with us at our Golf Outing – the biggest fundraiser of the year – you can still contribute to its success! We are raffling off a fun package of kitchen accessories, with all proceeds going to support the outing. Look for the flyer in your bulletin for more information, and see Margaret Nartey or Willie Coleman after church in Synod Hall to buy your tickets – good luck! Our last ticket sale date will be Sunday, October 12th, and the winner will be drawn during hospitality hour.

The first performance in this year’s Cathedral Arts Series is TODAY at 3:00 pm. Join us for award-winning pianist and composer, Sandrine Erdley Sayo. See Bobbie Powell, Bernard McMullan or a member of C.A.S.T. to get your tickets and enjoy some beautiful music in your cathedral!

Thank you, Bloomin’ 4 Good! – Many thanks to the Stop & Shop Bloomin’ 4 Good program for its recent contribution of $115 to our Food Pantry! Each month, a local hunger organization is selected to receive funds from the sale of the Bloomin’ 4 Good bouquet sold at Stop & Shop. Next year, if we are selected again, please be sure to pick up a bouquet to benefit our Pantry!

Last chance to sign up for pickleball! – At our October 13th golf outing, we will host a pickleball clinic in the morning to practice your moves. Then you’ll participate in a round-robin style play with fellow pickleballers (don’t worry – there are LOTS of beginners!) It’s not too late to register – only $60, which includes the after-tournament cocktail hour and buffet dinner. Join us and try it out! (Registration forms are on the literature table in the main hallway.)

Youth Christian Education Resumes – We are excited to announce that Christian Education for our youth will be resuming this fall, preparing young people for Confirmation at Easter 2026 and continuing to build on the strong foundation established last year. New and returning participants are encouraged to join. Sessions will be 75-90 minutes on alternating Sundays after church (schedule TBD). Any interested participants are encouraged to reach out to Althia Muse (609-802-2303 or althia.muse@yahoo.com) or Patricia Atkins (609-900-6954) patriciaaatkins@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you again this year!

Join us for six admission-based performances as well as three additional performances and events, including two performances by The Stretto Youth Chamber Orchestra (Dec. 14 and June 7) and a special event centered around Trinity Cathedral’s own labyrinth as part of World Labyrinth Day. Please support CAST by attending these performances, purchasing or soliciting advertising for our program, or making a direct contribution to support the series. (Form in bulletin.)

Tour of Trinity Cathedral Available – Join us for a tour of Trinity Cathedral on Sunday, October 26th conducted by Bernard McMullan, informal Cathedral historian and former chair of the Cathedral’s Property, Maintenance and Improvement Commission.

The 90-minute tour of the four different churches in the Cathedral complex will include a review of the history, architecture, stained glass, fabrics, and other art of Trinity as well telling some of the “stories” of this 133 year-old congregation. The event requires extensive walking and traversing of several flights of stairs. The tour concludes with hors d’oeuvres, sweets, wine and conversation in Synod Hall. Just a few slots are available on each of the days. A donation to Trinity Cathedral of $25 per person is requested. Sign up on the poster in the main hallway outside the Cathedral offices.

Group tours of the Cathedral can be arranged through Patrice D’Angelo (PatriceAtTrinity@aol.com) or Bernard McMullan (rivervue1622@gmail.com).
