We’d like to have a head count for out upcoming parish dance! – Our Totally Awesome Back to the 80’s Dance is on Saturday, June 7th at 6:00 pm. We’ll enjoy music, dancing, food and fun, while raising some money for our Cathedral. Get your tickets today and every Sunday after Mass in Synod Hall; even if you don’t want to pay today, please sign up on the RSVP list so we can get a head count.

Please consider contributing a prize toward our FUNdraising efforts at the parish dance (gift basket-makings, gift certificates and bottles of wine/spirits are all welcome!) There is a flyer in your bulletin with ideas for prizes – big or small, we can use them all! Individual donations can also be combined into baskets. If you would like more information, please call the office. Last year we raised almost $3,000 at our Fashion Show FUNdraiser – let’s do it again!

Can you read in an alternate language? Sunday, June 8th is Pentecost, where the first reading is read simultaneously in English and as many additional languages as we can muster! If you would like to participate, please call Patrice in the office, or E-mail her at patriceattrinity@aol.com and she will send you the reading to practice.

This week we will bag food for the Food Pantry – join us on Thursday, May 22nd at 4:45 pm.

The Trinity Cathedral Food Pantry needs reusable grocery bags! Strong, clean, new or gently used bags would be appreciated. Please leave bags in the collection bin in Synod Hall.

The next Food Pantry distribution date is – Saturday, May 24th (2nd & 4th Saturdays this month)
from 9-11:00 am. Each Thursday, we distribute hot dinners “to go” from 4:15–5:30pm at the Overbrook Avenue entrance as a satellite location for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.

A Healthy Church is a Singing Church: Lift Your Voice and Sing!

“Sometimes, if you begin to sing in a halfhearted mood, you can sing yourself up the ladder. Singing will often make the heart rise.”                                                                                                                                    Charles Spurgeon (1834 – 1892) English Baptist preacher
