Please join us for hospitality hour following the 10:30 AM service in Synod Hall! Meet new friends, and enjoy those you already know. If you are new to the Cathedral we’d like to get to know you! Enjoy hot and cold drinks and brunch treats. The entrance to Synod Hall is on the left, off the hallway leading to the parking lot doors. (Just ask if you need directions!)
“Hospitality bringers” for November 8, 2026: Georgia Koenig: ½ gal. iced tea and ½ gal. juice; Cynthia Coleman: Baked goods; Carolyn Ford: fruit; Anthony Rabara: salad makings/dressing. If you would like to bring an item to share, Joyce Gibbs-Spears will have a sign-up sheet in the Synod Hall kitchen during hospitality hour. You don’t need to bring something every week, even once per month would be welcomed. You can also sign up to help with set-up & clean-up. Each week, we will print a reminder list the same way we do with our altar servers.
Soon it will be turkey time! – Please consider contributing non-perishable Thanksgiving side dishes for us to distribute through our Food Pantry. Think canned vegetables, boxed potatoes, gravy, dessert mixes, etc. Donations can be left on the frontal case in Synod Hall. Thank you, on behalf of our neighbors, for your generosity!
Have you checked out our “Anglicanism 101” class? Each Sunday at 9:15 am in Synod Hall, we learn about the things that make our Episcopal Church what it is. Sessions are informative but not overwhelming, and combine historical info. with present-day relevance. Why do Episcopalians do what we do? Come grab a cup of coffee and find out more! Our last Anglicanism 101 will be on November 22nd, Christ the King Sunday. Mark your calendars for November 29th, when we will share a parish-wide activity for the first Sunday of Advent!
One of our neighbors that has mobility issues needs a ride to church. She lives at the Luther Towers on West State Street, so close to the Cathedral. If you think you can help out (it doesn’t need to be every week) please call Patrice in the office.
Did you know that we host weekly Rosary Devotions? Our group meets via Zoom on Thursdays at 8:00 pm. You can also join via phone if you do not use Zoom. If you would like more information, and to receive a printed devotional to follow along, please speak with Cn. Paul Cooper or Erica Warner.
To help make everyone feel welcome at the Cathedral, we ask that everyone wear their nametags for worship and events at the Cathedral. Look for your nametag near the parking lot entrance. If there is not one with your name on it yet, please use a temporary nametag and sign up on the sheet provided; one will be made for you the following week.
The next Food Pantry distribution date is – Saturday, November 14th (2nd & 4th Saturdays this month) from 9-11:00 am. Each Thursday, we distribute hot dinners “to go” from 4:15–5:30pm at the Overbrook Avenue entrance as a satellite location for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
