We have Advent calendars for teens and children! Pick up a copy on the literature table in the main hallway.

 

We will be Greening the Cathedral on Saturday, December 20 from 8:00am – 2:00 pm. Please consider joining us, as many hands make light work! If you have greens on your property that can be cut and donated toward the decorating of the Cathedral, please bring them in by December 17th.

LAST DAY TO TURN IN YOUR NAMES – Please consider a memorial and/or thanksgiving contribution to the festive greens and beautiful music that will fill our Cathedral for Christmas! Today is the last day to turn in the names of those to be honored, to be featured in our Christmas bulletins. Thanks so much for your support.

 

Our Food Pantry dates are changing this month! – Instead of December 27th, we are having our second December pantry day on Saturday, December 20th from 9 – 11:00 am. We will bag food for the pantry on Thursday, December 18th at 4:45 pm.

 

The Cathedral annual meeting will be held on Sunday, January 18th after the 10:00 am Mass (one Mass only that Sunday.) – If you are the Chair of a Commission or other organized Cathedral group, please have your report for the meeting booklet turned in to the office no later than Sunday, January 11th. Please E-mail it to Patrice at patriceattrinity@aol.com. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for a position on the Vestry, please speak with Chinweze Ahaghotu, Cn. Paul Cooper or Dean John. There is a handy form you can use to turn in your names.

 

Angel Tree Prison Fellowship – We need volunteers to greet the children and their caregivers in Synod Hall on the day gifts are distributed (Dec. 20th). Join us in this ministry that transforms lives and brings joy to prisoners and their families at Christmas time! If you are looking for a way to become more involved with the operation of our Cathedral, please see the volunteer bulletin board just inside the parking lot doors. Here you will find posted opportunities to volunteer at the Cathedral, big and small. If you would like to advertise a volunteer opportunity, you can create your own flyer or use the form on the literature table in the main hallway.

 

The next Food Pantry distribution date is – Saturday, December 20th (2nd & 3rd Saturdays this month) from 9-11:00 am. Each Thursday, we distribute hot dinners “to go” from 4:15–5:30pm at the Overbrook Avenue entrance as a satellite location for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
