2026 Stewardship Update: We have received 62 pledges, totaling $248,004, representing an average pledge of $4,000 per family. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY! If you would like a pledge card, please see an Usher.
We have Advent calendars for adults, teens and children! Pick up a copy on the literature table in the main hallway.
Thanks to all who ordered a Christmas wreath from our wreath sale fundraiser this year! Please pick up your wreath after the 10:00am Mass today, and be sure to visit our “Christmas Shop” in Synod Hall – you may find the perfect stocking stuffer!
We will be Greening the Cathedral on Saturday, December 20 from 8:00am – 2:00 pm. Please consider joining us, as many hands make light work! If you have greens on your property that can be cut and donated toward the decorating of the Cathedral, please bring them in by December 17th.
We have an exciting new Fall Fundraiser! – You can enter to win a pair of tickets to the Capital Philharmonic New Year’s Eve concert, including a champagne toast backstage! Please see the flyer in your bulletin for more information and enter to win after Mass.
This week we bag food for the Food Pantry – Join us on Thursday, December 11th at 4:45 pm.
Did you know that we host a Grief Support Group at Trinity? – The next group meeting is Saturday, December 13th at 10:00 am in the Guild Room.
UrbanPromise Trenton’s Christmas Shop: Can you help to stock the shelves? – Every year at this time UrbanPromise Trenton sets up a Christmas Shop at each site in Trenton to allow the children in the program to “buy” gifts for their families… moms, dads, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Some of the most popular items are small appliances (toasters, coffeemakers, crockpots), hats and gloves of course, slippers, wallets, bath towels, chocolates, candles, spa-like things… hand lotion, body wash, or whatever you think might be a good gift to give or receive. Be creative! DO NOT wrap the gift. The children will take care of that. Leave them here at church in the office, with a sticky note that says UPT. Questions? Call, text or E-mail, Georgia Koenig at (609) 273-3351.
Angel Tree Prison Fellowship – Donations of wrapping paper, ribbons/bows, and large gift bags are always welcomed. We will also need volunteers to wrap gifts and/or to greet the children and their caregivers in Synod Hall on the day gifts are distributed (Dec. 20th). Exact dates for the gift wrapping will be announced in early December. Join us in this ministry that transforms lives and brings joy to prisoners and their families at Christmas time! For information or to volunteer, contact Judith Miller at 609-586-0915 or judithm2@verizon.net; or see her after the 10:00 am service in the coming weeks.
If you are looking for a way to become more involved with the operation of our Cathedral, please see the volunteer bulletin board just inside the parking lot doors. Here you will find posted opportunities to volunteer at the Cathedral, big and small. If you would like to advertise a volunteer opportunity, you can create your own flyer or use the form on the literature table in the main hallway.
The next Food Pantry distribution date is – Saturday, December 13th (2nd & 4th Saturdays this month) from 9-11:00 am. Each Thursday, we distribute hot dinners “to go” from 4:15–5:30pm at the Overbrook Avenue entrance as a satellite location for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
