Join us TODAY at 3:00 pm, when CAST presents Minas Brazilian Jazz & Rhythms in concert! Tickets are just $30. See a member of CAST or purchase yours at the door. With over four decades performing in a variety of formats, their professionalism and versatility, from the duo to ensemble, to orchestra and big band, has placed Minas in high demand. Minas takes Brazilian and American roots to create a sound that is fresh and innovative, from ballads tinged with melancholic traits of Blues and Choro, to Folk coasting on the subtle coolness of a Bossa Nova pulse, to upbeat Sambas elaborated with instrumental jazz improvisation, scat singing and whimsical whistling. Capturing the essence of great songwriting with memorable melodies, inventive harmonies, and poetic lyrics, the music of Minas is engaging and timeless.

In the main hallway you will see a whiteboard where you can sign up for an hour of prayer for our Maundy Thursday “overnight” vigil in the Cathedral Easter garden, ending at 10:00 pm on Thursday and resuming again at 6:00 am on Good Friday. There are spots that need to be filled at 8, 9 and 10am on Good Friday, but you can join us for any of the hours on the board.

The Cathedral Egg hunt is “a hop-ening” on Easter Sunday, April 5th! We are good for eggs, but need fillers! Donations of small toys, individually-wrapped candy, coins, etc. that will fit inside the eggs would help our event be “egg-stra” special for the children! Also looking for small plush animals in good condition as well. Any questions? Please E-mail Rose Cooper at rcooper609@proton.me.

Trinity Cathedral Academy, a free to all Trenton families, fully funded by the State of NJ, pre-school, is looking for a fully certified NJ teacher. Salary is dependent upon credentials and experience in pre-school/elementary school as a teacher or aide. Please contact either Kenyatta Clayborn, Director of the Academy, or Georgia Koenig, chairperson of the Academy Board, to discuss further. If you are this person, or if you know someone who might be interested in the position, here at 801 West State Street in Trenton, please pass this information on to them. Kenyatta can be reached in the school office during school hours, 609-396-1484 or via E-mail at tcapreschoolnj@gmail.com. Georgia can be reached on her cell daytime or evenings, 609-273-3351 or via E-mail at gbkoenig@verizon.net. We are both interested in talking with you!

Join us for our 2026 Fashion Show FUNdraiser! This year our event will be held on Saturday, May 9th – Mother’s Day weekend. We will be celebrating our mothers, grandmothers, and all who “mother” us! Tickets are $30 for adults, and $12 for children 12 and older (available NOW on Sundays or by calling the office!) All are encouraged to model: please sign up on the clipboard on the table outside Synod Hall. If modeling is not your “style”, bring your moms, grandmothers, or the special ladies in your life, to enjoy the show! Add your name to the list for our “80’s Ladies Club” for mother-figures who are 80+ (who will receive special recognition.) We’ll also produce a “booster booklet” that will feature the names of all donors to the event. Questions? Speak with Margaret Nartey.

Next week we will have a fun Cinco de Mayo-themed basket to raffle, with proceeds going to our Fashion Show FUNdraiser! Fiesta-style housewares, snacks, a $25 dinner gift card and margaritas included! Tickets will be $10 each and the winner will be announced prior to Cinco de Mayo; stay tuned…
