FOR VESTRY, ALL CHAIRS OF CATHEDRAL COMMISSIONS AND THOSE ACTIVE IN OUR MINISTRIES – Save the date for Sunday, July 26th after the 10:00 AM Mass to join us for a brief “sharing and planning” meeting in the Guild Room. Let’s enjoy refreshments (and air conditioning!) as we prepare for the upcoming, busy fall season. Please RSVP to Patrice in the Cathedral office by July 22nd.
Save the date for our Acolytes’ Car Wash Fundraiser! Sunday, August 2nd at noon. Our young people have taken the initiative to raise funds for new vestments and Acolyte fellowship activities. A flyer will be made available to share with family and friends.
This week we will bag food for the Food Pantry – join us on Thursday, July 9th at 4:45 pm.
Did you know we have a Grief Support Group that meets the second Saturday of each month? Join us on July 11th from 10:00 am – noon, in the Guild Room.
During the summer, our hospitality hour will transition to lighter, more informal selections of coffee, cookies and cold drinks. This helps simplify set-up and clean-up during the hot summer months, in order to give our hospitality volunteers an annual break. If you would like to continue bringing a dish of any kind to share during the summer, feel free to do so! Alternatively, you may bring cookies or something similar.
The 8:30 am Mass is off for summer break; see you in September!
The Cathedral office is currently on summer hours: Mon. – Thurs., 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and Fri., 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Our Urban Promise summer camp kick-off picnic scheduled for July 2nd was unfortunately postponed due to extreme heat conditions. Stay tuned for the re-schedule date.
We will be issuing a new Parish Directory in the early Fall – Sometime over the summer, please fill out the “Member Profile Form” found on our literature tables to update your information, and drop it in the collection plate. You can also bring or mail it to Patrice in the office or scan and E-mail it to patriceattrinity@aol.com. Keeping our contact information up-to-date is vital to our parish communications – thank you for your assistance!
To help make everyone feel welcome at the Cathedral, we ask that everyone wear their nametags for worship and events at the Cathedral. Look for your nametag near the parking lot entrance. If there is not one with your name on it yet, please use a temporary nametag and sign up on the sheet provided; one will be made for you the following week.
The next Food Pantry distribution date is – Saturday, July 11th (2nd & 4th Saturdays this month) from 9-11:00 am. Each Thursday, we distribute hot dinners “to go” from 4:15–5:30pm at the Overbrook Avenue entrance as a satellite location for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
