A funeral and repast for longtime Trinity parishioner, Comfort Sparks will be held on Saturday, September 19th at 12:00 pm. Please join us. If you are a member of the choir and would like to come out and sing, the family would welcome the support (no anthems to rehearse, hymns only. Thank you!)

Our Regular hospitality hour will start up again on September 20th – We are trying to formalize a regular schedule where folks bring things on certain Sundays, and we print a reminder in the service bulletin the week prior. If you would like to sign up to bring an item, please take a look at the list posted on the bulletin board across from Synod Hall. You don’t need to bring something every week, even once per month would be welcomed. You can also sign up to help with set-up & clean-up.

Our largest annual fundraiser is coming up soon! – The Bishop George E. Councell Memorial Golf Outing is quickly approaching; please consider supporting this, our largest annual fundraiser, as you are able. We still need raffle and auction prizes, and there’s still time to place an ad in our program book (perhaps join with some fellow parishioners to share the cost?) You could also join us for fellowship and food at our dinner reception (featuring live entertainment this year!) Our Golf Outing Committee is dedicated to our success, but it is a small group and they can use everyone’s help. Speak with a member of the Golf Outing Committee (Bill Harmer, Willie Coleman, La’Tonya Johnson, Van Gibson, or Acting Dean Lee) if you would like more information about ways you can pitch in. There are golf outing brochures on the table in the main hallway with levels of support listed.

One of our neighbors that has mobility issues needs a ride to church. She lives at the Luther Towers on West State Street, so close to the Cathedral. If you think you can help out (it doesn’t need to be every week) please call Patrice in the office.

Did you know that we host weekly Rosary Devotions? Our group meets via Zoom on Thursdays at 8:00 pm. You can also join via phone if you do not use Zoom. If you would like more information, and to receive a printed devotional to follow along, please speak with Cn. Paul Cooper or Erica Warner.

To help make everyone feel welcome at the Cathedral, we ask that everyone wear their nametags for worship and events at the Cathedral. Look for your nametag near the parking lot entrance. If there is not one with your name on it yet, please use a temporary nametag and sign up on the sheet provided; one will be made for you the following week.

The next Food Pantry distribution date is – Saturday, September 26th (2nd & 4th Saturdays this month) from 9-11:00 am. Each Thursday, we distribute hot dinners “to go” from 4:15–5:30pm at the Overbrook Avenue entrance as a satellite location for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
