We are looking forward to our Fashion Show FUNdraiser coming up on June 8th! To help reach our fundraising goal, we are planning a basket raffle to be held at the event. Can you donate an item(s) to help us fill our baskets? Here are some theme ideas: Movie Night, Game Night, Baby Basket, Bathroom Basket, Hair and Nails, Car Wash, Basket of Cheer (wine or spirits), Beach/Pool, Mexican or Italian Specialties, Relaxation Day, and Lottery Tree. We are also open to Father’s Day-specific basket ideas: Dad’s Day is right around the corner! Gift cards are welcome, and can be used as the centerpiece of each basket. If you would like to talk about donation ideas, please call Patrice in the office or speak with Margaret Nartey on Sundays. For more information on our event, please see the flyer posted on the main hallway bulletin board.

Sanctuary Road:  An oratorio with orchestra, soloists and full chorus, is a powerful retelling of the book by the prolific Underground Railroad conductor William Still,   and the stories (collected by personal interviews) of those he helped to find freedom. Composed by the award-winning duo of Paul Moravec and librettist Mark Cambell, this work will be presented by Princeton Pro Musica on Sunday, May 5th at 4:00 pm in Richardson Auditorium of Princeton University. Tickets available at: https://princetonpromusica.my.salesforce-sites.com/ticket/  . This formidable work will expand and deepen audience members’ understanding of the human and inhumane dimensions of our nation’s saddest legacy. See choir members Bernard McMullan or Fran Perlman for more information.
